Peak version. This manages to not only be an extremely clean edit, but actually add to the song in a way that fits very well. Looking back at the original, the drops don't hold up nearly as well as this, being extremely underwhelming compared to the melodic bits both in terms of production and composition, and moreover actually lessen the song in my opinion by compromising the emotional buildup in a jarring way. Not to disparage anyone who likes the original, there are no rights or wrongs when it comes to one's taste in music. I like the original too, but I definitely prefer this.

I lost the love for dubstep in high-school. No clue what triggered it but suddenly i was more into house and d&b, while dubstep gave me a visceral reaction. I loved this song, and now i can listen to it without the triggers. Thank you so much~♡

i first heard this song probably in 2014, where a youtuber used it as their intro to their videos. i hadn't heard it for years after they stopped making those mlp videos, but yesterday the audio appeared on my fyp and ive never felt so old and felt this nostalgic. i feel like im in 2014 again and gosh that time was so good. definitely adding this to my playlists purely for nostalgia

This sounds official, like it came from another world where Skrillex just made normal electronic music instead of dubstep. I love the original but I love this just as much, there’s times where I’m just not in the mood for that loud ass drop lol.

The verse has been running through my mind and this is literally what I needed.

my dad showed me this song when i was 6 years old, i didn't like it at all because of the dubstep part. One time i was just listening to music, i was 12, (im 14 now) and suddenly, randomly, that memory came to my mind, and i searched up the song, i really don't kmow how i remembered the name, but now this song gives me chills and kinda makes me sad.. it makes me look back at all the things i did together with my father, he really liked skrillex's music, and dubstep in general, but mostly liked skrillex's songs. I listen to dubstep now, because i like it, and because it brings back memories... my dad is not with me anymore
